The night hung heavy in rhetoric,
Descriptions fallen and languid,
Poems spent freely,
We tried to describe the sky,
Hid it beneath clever words,
Simplicity mocked,
Our eyes clouded in verse,
We forgot how to see,
Not everything needed to be written.
